Doc & Donna’s Classic Country Show

Doc was born and raised in Texas, and I was born and raised in Colorado.  Both of our dads loved the Grand Ole Opry and the legendary country music of the 50’s & 60’s. We used to sing with them when we were young.   So, when Doc and I  met, we knew all the same songs!

Your Cheatin’ Heart, Ghost Riders In the Sky, Make the World Go Away, Streets of Laredo,  I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry, Jambalaya, Oh Lonesome Me.....the list goes on and on.  This music runs deep in our blood, and we love to sing it.

As part of the WHITE SPORT COAT nostalgic journey, we offer a full program of Classic Country Music.  This is one of my favorite programs because it takes me back to Colorado when my dad would crack open a Coor beer, open a can of kippered herring (he was a good Swede), tune up his guitar, and play all evening long.  Of course, he would always bring out his harmonica.  We would always end the night with Hank Williams’ rendition of Cool Water.
